F. Family

It's too close to Christmas for me to ruin someone's Christmas picture surprise (sorry S's, I didn't think about that.) So, here is what I can teach future clients about taking pictures with me:

1) If you must be silly, make sure everyone is doing it at the same time.

2) If you need to go to the bathroom, just tell me.

3) Do exactly as I say! If I say leap to our next location--DO IT! It is essential for good photography (or at least good blackmail pictures.)

4) If I can't get your name straight, forgive me, even if you have told me 213 times.

5) If the five year old asks for family wrestling as a reward for a session well done, I'm okay with that!

i am SOOO GOOD . . .

. . . at least they make it look that way! Mr. Lashes and his sweet family were back for his one year session. They are so fun, I'm glad they are coming to Austin next year to let me take more pictures! ; ) It was a crazy day for me--one sick kid at home, another coming home from school, change of location, a plethora of mosquitos and a mad dash for bug spray all on top of moving chaos, but they totally took it in stride. And here is their payback--we had nice cool weather and GORGEOUS light! Hardly touched these pictures!

It was a session right from a book--complete with a bridge and a grumpy old troll! These are our friends the S. family. They are really cute!

I love H's face! We were waiting for somethings else. I think she sees the troll!

And here is that grumpy old troll--Not! It was L's dad and he was working hard to get smiles! Thanks grandpa!

Thanks to everyone who has made my business here such a success! I have loved it and I hope you could tell how much I enjoyed getting to know you all and watching those babies and kids grow! Now we are heading to Austin right after Thanksgiving. I'd love it if you'd help me spread the word to your friends and family in Austin. The house we purchased is going to have some major renovations done pretty quickly, so I probably won't begin photographing until Spring, but I would love to get going again as soon as I can. If you have a session scheduled, rest assured that I had planned ahead and they are on.
